Now that my semester is over, I can finally lay out my plan for this site.
As it stands, this site is just a simple nginx server running on a VPS. I've hand-typed all the html and css in vim from my laptop through ssh. For my blogging needs, this is adequate. I'm happy with this simple frontend.
I plan to expand the functionality of this site in other ways, though. Here is a list of my planned additions, in rough order:
A mail server, so I can delete social media for good
An RSS feed in case people want to know when new posts go up. I've never actually used RSS myself, so I look forward to learning how it works.
A personal git server would be great for config files.
And more!
This is just the beginning. Expect to see any web-facing projects I create on here as well. I hope to build this site into something really awesome. Thank you taking the time to check it out!
